This course offers you:
- The tools to engage creatively with your life
Meditation calms us down and helps you focus so you can think more clearly. Whether you're feeling busy, stressed, or without a sense of purpose in your life – mindfulness is a life-changing skill which can help you make the changes you need.
- Develop a regular meditation practice
At the Cork Buddhist Centre our teachers are experienced in supporting people to set up an effective meditation practice. We'll teach you how to create supportive conditions in your life that enable you to meditate everyday.
- Understand what mindfulness really is
These days, mindfulness is everywhere and sometimes its meaning and purpose can get lost. Our teaching of Mindfulness comes directly from its source – the Buddha's teaching which has been tried and tested for thousands of years through a lineage of Buddhist teachers and their deep practice of mindfulness. Saying that, you don't need to be a Buddhist to benefit from the course!
